South Korea
In November 2023, through Fontys Academy for the Creative Economy, I had the unique opportunity to participate in several projects in South Korea.
Together with Korean students from Daejeon University, among others, I worked on the project ‘Living Lab: Solving Global Problems 2023’. Presenting our case to a large audience was a highlight, and the fact that we even made the news made it extra special!
At Konkuk University, I contributed to an inspiring project aimed at improving the social lives of young people in Korea. At Sookmyung, I gained valuable insights into their vision of food innovation.
This experience not only enhanced my cultural knowledge but also strengthened my skills in multidisciplinary collaboration and intercultural communication. I am grateful to have been able to discover and experience South Korea, and look forward to applying these valuable insights in my future work.

I am proud to say that I have successfully completed my studies in Digital Business Concepts at the Fontys Academy for the Creative Economy! My graduation research at Gastronomixs was a great experience. I dove into the world of content with a growth-marketing mindset, focusing on optimising production and launch to attract both existing and new users. The goal here was to find the sweetspot of content frequency.
It was a challenge that perfectly matched my passion for digital innovation. I was able to apply my knowledge and experience in an inspiring environment and gained valuable insights about the dynamics of a growing company. I am grateful to Gastronomixs for this opportunity and look forward to the next step in my career with great enthusiasm!

Startup Project
Challenge:
From 1 April 2023, deposits have been introduced on cans in the Netherlands. This has led to an increase in the number of cans people have to return, as well as inconvenience in storing and transporting them.
Solution:
To address this problem, I and my team developed the Can Collector. This is an innovative, collapsible crate specially designed for collecting and returning empty cans.
The Can Collector:
-Ensures tidy and organised storage of cans, preventing them from getting in the way or damaged.
-Makes it easy to transport empty cans to a drop-off point.
-Encourages recycling and contributes to a cleaner environment.
Target group:
The Can Collector is particularly targeted at households in the 30-50 age group, who have indicated difficulty in storing and returning empty cans.
Results:
During the project, we conducted extensive research on the issues surrounding deposit on cans.
We conducted interviews to validate the needs of the target group.
We developed a prototype of the Can Collector.
The project gave us valuable insights into product development, market research and sustainability.
Conclusion:
The Can Collector is a practical and sustainable solution to a current problem. The project has shown us how we can use innovation and creativity to make a positive impact on society.

16Personalities test
Advocate (INFJ)
“Idealistic and principled, people with the INFJ personality type (Advocates) aren’t content to coast through life – they want to stand up and make a difference. For these compassionate personalities, success doesn’t come from money or status but from seeking fulfillment, helping others, and being a force for good in the world.
While they have lofty goals and ambitions, INFJs shouldn’t be mistaken for idle dreamers. People with this personality type care about integrity, and they’re rarely satisfied until they’ve done what they know to be right. Conscientious to the core, they move through life with a clear sense of their values, and they aim to never lose sight of what truly matters – not according to other people or society at large but according to their own wisdom and intuition.”
